In December 2023 the Centre for Climate Repair (CCR), hosted in DAMTP, held a series of events at COP28. The focus of the sessions was on engaging audiences to stimulate discussion and thought about other potential actions to tackle climate change which we might consider beyond emissions reductions.

The CCR's research aims to help further our understanding of the risks and benefits of potential tools to repair the climate system, so that society can make more informed decisions as to whether they could play a role in the journey to a 1.5 degrees Celsius world.
