A Meeting in celebration of the 70th birthday of N.O.Weiss


Nigel Weiss was 70 last December, and in his honour there
will be a programme of invited talks on

22 June 2007

All friends and colleagues of Nigel are warmly invited to join this celebration. Bed and breakfast accommodation may be available in Trinity College on 22 June (and possibly also on 21 June), and there will be a dinner with speeches that evening in the College. The charge for the dinner will be £40; rates for accommodation will be announced shortly. There will be a small registration fee (£10) to cover teas, coffees and the reception. The meeting is supported by the London Mathematical Society, and the Heilbronn Fund, Trinity College and there is travel and subsistence support available for UK Research Students.

Lunch: arrangements for lunch are not yet finalised. A simple sandwich lunch should be available at the CMS cafeteria,: if there is sufficient demand a special and better lunch may be available. Please indicate which you prefer.

Dinner: The conference dinner will take place in the Old Kitchen, Trinity College. Numbers are limited. Please indicate if you wish to bring a guest: if numbers are very large it may be necessary to restrict the number of guest tickets.
