Limited numbers of these fellowships are available each year and the scheme operates a rotating award with subjects being advertised each year. 

For the 2026/27 round we are able to host fellowships relating to 'Condensed Matter and Materials'.

Applications will close on 30 November 2025. Each candidate requires a Host Support Letter from the Head of Department and a statement from the member of our academic staff who has agreed to host them and their project.

If you intend to apply, please contact our Grants Team (grants@damtp.cam.ac.uk) as soon as possible and well before the deadline. Please allow at least two weeks for the preparation of the Host Support Letter. When requesting the Host Support Letter, ensure that you also include a statement of support from a member of our academic staff.
