Introduction 

My name is Matthijs van den Bergh, and I have the privilege of joining the faculty as its new Computing and IT Manager. I came to the UK from the Netherlands in 2019 and previously worked as the Department of Biochemistry's IT manager. I am eager to support the IT team and together support the faculty in its IT needs.

My background includes IT administration in commercial international organisations, IT operations management in one of the biggest Dutch mental health care foundations and working for the last five years at Cambridge University.

I am particularly passionate about utilising hospitality and craftsmanship to provide IT services. I look forward to collaborating with you all and invite you to engage with me so I can better understand your needs and help support your goals.
