I am a member of the Waves group under the supervision of Dr Lorna Ayton. My research interests involve acoustics, asymptotic analysis, homogenisation and applications to noise reduction and metamaterials. I am supported by an EPSRC PhD studentship. My recent problems include considering the effects of a shear boundary layer on the acoustic impedance condition on a flat plate.
