My work generally uses numerical simulations, bifurcation analysis and linear stability techniques to investigate fluid stability relating to:

  • Elastic turbulence in viscoelastic fluids (both concentrated and dilute regimes). 
  • Rayleigh-Bénard and internally heated convection.
  • Newtonian shear flows and the SSP.
