Buff and Cheritat proved the existence of quadratic polynomials with positive area Julia sets with irrationally indifferent fixed points. Their proof involves three types of renormalization theory; McMullen’s, Yoccoz’s and near-parabolic renormalization. We try to propose a toy model which only use the near-parabolic renormalization, which possibly produce an arithmetic condition for positive area.
