Research

Ron is a member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics High Energy Physics research group. His current research interests are mainly in those aspects of String Theory, Quantum Field Theory and Twistor Theory that might give us a better understanding of what Quantum Gravity really is. A full list of publications may be found at http://inspirehep.net.

He currently lectures Part III Advanced Quantum Field Theory and was, until recently, the lecturer for Part III String Theory. He is also the Acting Director of Taught Postgraduate Education in the Faculty of Mathematics until Lent 2024.

Ron is a College Associate Professor at Trinity Hall (https://www.trinhall.cam.ac.uk) and is the current Korner Fellow in Mathematics.
