I'm a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, in the Theoretical
High Energy Particle Physics Group of the Department of Applied
Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and a Professorial Fellow
of Clare Hall College. You can check out my life drawing,
which I interpret in terms of quantum physics, at
Quantum Selves
.
For the lay person: to find out the kind of research I've been doing, watch some
videos
or read an article.

I work on beyond the Standard Model phenomenology.
This involves bottom-up model building, collider searches (especially at
CERN's Large Hadron Collider)
  and flavour
  physics implications.
I often work with other members of
the Cambridge
Pheno Working Group. I worked at
CERN in the early 2000s and go back often, having Visiting Scientist status
  there.
