The Weak Gravity Conjecture and its various refinements form a cornerstone of the swampland program. While many examples satisfy the Lattice Weak Gravity Conjecture (LWGC), where a superextremal state is present at every site of the charge lattice, there are some examples where only a (finite index) sublattice of superextremal states are present. In this talk, we will identify and explore a common feature of these LWGC violating theories: a magnetic superlattice of fractionally charged confined monopoles. We will study several quantitative features of these confined monopoles and their flux tubes, and we will study the extension to theories with nonabelian gauge groups. In the process, we will encounter novel examples of LWGC violation.
