I am a lecturer in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge. Before coming to Cambridge, I was at MIT where I received my PhD under the supervision of Pablo Parrilo.

My research interests lie broadly in convex optimization and its applications.

I am looking for PhD students to work on problems related to semidefinite programming and polynomial optimization, with potential applications in quantum information. If you are interested, drop me an email! I will consider applications submitted through Cambridge Mathematics of Information.
