I am a lecturer (assistant professor) in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge. I received my PhD in 2016 from MIT under the supervision of Pablo Parrilo.
My research is in mathematical optimization. Some of the application areas I have worked on include control theory, quantum information, and machine learning. A current focus of my research is optimization problems involving matrix variables, and more particularly applications of semidefinite programming.
I am always interested to learn about new problems and applications of optimization. If you would like to discuss your problem feel free to drop me an email.
