Conference Outline

Eurostrings 2006 is the annual meeting of the European Superstrings Network. Its aim is to communicate research in areas related to string theory between members of the Network, as well as having input from members of other Networks and from outside Europe. It will start with a pre-registration reception in the afternoon of Sunday April 2. The Meeting itself will start on Monday April 3 and end on mid-day Friday April 7, when it will merge with MBG-60. MBG-60 will continue on Saturday April 8, ending with a dinner in the evening.

Registration details

The registration fee of £ 170 includes the cost of lunches and one banquet ticket. Registration without the banquet is possible at the reduced rate of £ 120. There will also be a celebratory dinner on Saturday 8th April associated with Michael Green's 60th birthday. Details of this will be made available shortly.

To register please submit the registration form and send the registration fee, accommodation fee and the cost of any extra banquet tickets using one of the methods described below. Extra banquet tickets may be ordered at £ 50 per ticket. Your registration will not be completed until your payment is received. If you cancel your registration in advance you will be entitled to a full refund. However, a late cancellation will be subject to a charge imposed on us by the College.

Accommodation details

Accommodation for participants has been arranged at Clare College which is a short walk from the conference venue at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. This is a bed-and-breakfast package for six nights, April 2-April 7, with the possibility of extension by one night at the end of the conference (April 8) for the MBG-60 event. The total cost for a single room with ensuite facilities for six nights is £ 342 (£ 57 for the additional night). The total cost for a single room with shared facilities for six nights is £ 240 (£ 40 for the additional night). Double occupancy with ensuite facilities for six nights is £ 564 (£ 94 for the additional night). Participants may also register for (buffet) dinners in the old Clare dining hall at a total cost of £ 60 (for April 2-7 excluding the banquet night April 5).

Payment details

The preferred method of payment is by credit card, which must be Mastercard (Eurocard) or Visa. The account number and expiry date should be written onto a printed copy of the application form and sent to the address below. There is no registration fee for the MBG-60 event. If you are only intending to participate in this event please indicate this in the additional comments box and do not send any payment.
