Mathematical Tripos Part IA: Algebra and Geometry (2006)

My Algebra and Geometry notes from Michaelmas 2006 are available in pdf and postscript form. Vectors and Matrices was the successor to this course, and the notes for that course are a refined version of [most of] these notes.

Mathematical Tripos Part IA: Vectors and Matrices (2007 onwards)

My Vectors and Matrices notes will not appear online until I have ceased lecturing the course. The notes are not available on the WWW since I view them as an adjunct to lectures and they are not meant to be used independently. However, Cambridge supervisors can obtain a copy of the notes by contacting me directly.

The above sets of notes do not include figures (since I expected the students to draw these in by hand). You are welcome to use the notes for personal study, but not for other purposes. Please contact me if you spot any mistakes, or if you are willing to produce the figures in postscript/pdf form for inclusion (if so you can have a copy of the notes with figures).
